TCM Explanation of the Formula
MALE TONIC contains the classic qi tonic combination known as the Four Gentlemen – Si Jun Zi Tang. (Ginseng, Atractylodes, Poria Fungus and Licorice Root).

Eleuthro and Cuscutae Seed are tonics for the kidney qi. The first seven herbs (above) form a very potent synergistic kidney, lung and spleen qi tonic group.

Polygonum ShouWu complements this group by adding tonification of the kidney jing.

Peony Root is a blood tonic, but it also helps move the blood and keep the Liver qi open.

Gingko has been extensively studied and shows a marked influence on increase of brain function. In fact, it improves blood flow throughout the entire body and supports vascular health. It is also recognized as a powerful antioxidant.

Citrus Peel supports the tonification and regulation of qi.
